The geniuses have been predicting this junk science since the late 1700s. It is becoming a bit much, like "The Boy Who Cried Wolf".

It's too bad this stuff provides fodder for the anti science deniers to do nothing. The polar ice caps are melting, sea levels are rising , there is a hole in the ozone, and natural disasters are increasing. On a local level our water is poisoned with nitrites, mercury and cow shit and you can't eat the fish. Nobody really wants to significantly lower their standard of living and we don't need to do that. Trump is undoing things just for the hell of it. There is no economic reason why coal production can't die a natural death. There is no reason to subsidize oil production, there is no reason to put a surcharge on electric and hybrid vehicles, there is no economic reason to stand in the way of solar and wind power now that they are becoming profitable. Makes no sense whatsoever.

What makes no sense is not addressing everything predicted that didn't happen. That's what this thread is about.
Btw, your post is full of more holes than Swiss cheese.

Something that didn't happen - didn't happen. What's there to address ?

Perhaps you have a point. So we can rest assured that anything Al Gore or Pippi Longstockings say will happen - won't happen.

I disagree. It has survived long after the dinosaurs were wiped out. It survived The Flood. It has survived two World Wars and atomic bombs and nuclear meltdowns. It has survived everything Mother Nature has thrown at her as well as the bad behavior of 7 billion people. Naw, the planet is just fine without our help.

The earth is indeed resilient. But the things you speak of were singular events. Plus we haven't fully recovered from the few atomic/nuclear accidents.
It is humans who are adapting to environmental changes, non humans are not faring so well.
We know that we can't survive numerous nuclear attacks or accidents, so we try to avoid them.
We know we can no longer drink out of streams and tainted wells, so we don't. Who would have thunk just a few years ago that bottled water industry would be booming as it is now.
We know we can't bathe in the sun like we used to, so we don't
We know that we can't safely breath air in populous cities in India and china, so we wear masks, avoid those places, or die young.
We know we shouldn't eat fish out of Wisconsin lakes and streams, so we don't.
We can't eat Polar bear anymore so we eat burgers.

It's not the planet that's just peachy, it's people changing their behavior that will enable us to survive. It might not have to be that way is my point. Degradation for degradation sake is evil.
