		Your so-called "digging of the holes" are the result of a million and one factors. Many outside the scope of government. Unregulated banking is a one major cause. Over regulated banking is another. Doing nothing doesn't relieve any  suffering. And we don't have good data that "doing nothing" will pull is out of any recession at all.
