According to the Census Bureau, it's worse than I thought - at least in CA.

More than 7-in-10 households headed by immigrants in the state of California are on taxpayer-funded welfare, a new study reveals.

The latest Census Bureau data analyzed by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) finds that about 72 percent of households headed by noncitizens and immigrants use one or more forms of taxpayer-funded welfare programs in California — the number one immigrant-receiving state in the U.S.

Meanwhile, only about 35 percent of households headed by native-born Americans use welfare in California.

The Trump gang redefined welfare for the purposes of this study to include:

Tax credits (EITC)
TANF for which work is required
Free and Reduced priced school meals which they conveniently didn't mention the all school lunches are subsidized.

Buried in the study is the fact that it is the "citizens" within the households headed by non-citizens that qualify for the assistance.

We didn't need this non scientific study to tell us that many immigrants are po people.

Even the non-productive who are a drag on society. This simply means we are more socialist than the original Constitutional Republic which was intended.

Most of the founders were pretty decent people. I think their hopes were that all enjoy the benefits of this great country.
